This is my father’s camp just south of Inverness, Scotland during WWII. They called it the Beothuk. My father, Ernest Clarke, is top right, leaning on the window. He went to Scotland with his brother, Wallace. Wallace left the forestry and joined the RAF, as a gunner. His plane was shot down over Italy, where he was killed. My father died in 1977.
